Okay! Made it to Tokyo; currently we're lounging in the airport waiting for our bus. Singapore was groovy - I still can't believe how laxed out it was, nothing opened until 10am! It was awesome. Way too hot, though. Here it's like 8 degrees or something...bit of a difference. Break out the boots and jacket!

Hey guys, sorry to those of you who have been expecting texts and haven't gotten them - apparently our phones are being all with the not-roaming and stuff. We're here in Singapore, arrived last night, and so far so good. Really hot, but we've been doing a lot of walking around and sight-seeing. Both of us now have new cameras, which is exciting! Expect lots of photos now that we finally found a nearby net cafe.

Going to go see the Night Safari tonight, which sounds exciting, and hit Santosa tomorrow for a bit. Possible tandem biking may be involved; expect hilarious recounts of this. It's about 2pm here, which makes it 7pm NZ time, and Glen made us get up early to go shopping. Big mistake; shops didn't open until 10am!! Silly Glen. Tomorrow we're going to get up early and be all tourist-like and take pictures of statues and stuff. Hopefully you can all expect pictures of Betsy doing saucy things.

Getting out of Wellington was exciting; at first we thought the fog was going to keep us from flying, but instead we went to check in and got told that out plane was having mechanical problems. Luckily Qantas helped us out and we left right on time. I hate to think how much of my good karma got used up on that, but it was worth it!!

Will try and update again tomorrow or Wednesday with big shiny exciting pictures.

I'll be checking emails regularly, and while we're at Dad's I'll no doubt have internet access, although I have a suspicion that I'll be kept busy looking at all the new babies.
